It is our desire to reduce our impact on the environment and our natural resources, while still maintaining a level of comfort to our guests. 
We hope you will join us in considering the impact our daily actions have on our children's planet.

Birchcliff is taking the following steps :

Implemented a Recycling Program
Using more efficient fluorescent lighting
Reduce laundry use, by guests' decision not to have 
sheets/towels laundered everyday.
Use of non-toxic, bio-degradable cleaning supplies, paints, etc.
Use of post-consumer recycled materials
Solar water heater at pool
Donate money for development of alternative energy sources.

We hope to continue our resolve by incorporating solar and wind power where possible, replacing appliances with EnergyStar appliances, and keeping informed of other methods.
